ABOUT THE PROJECT

For my semester project, I chose the theme of light, exploring its profound ability to evoke and intensify emotions in intricate ways. Light possesses a unique capacity to influence our emotional states, not only by amplifying specific feelings but also by eliciting an extensive spectrum of emotions within us. Through my work, I have delved into how the interplay of light and shadow, color, and intensity can shape our perceptions and create atmospheres that resonate deeply on an emotional level. This project allowed me to uncover the subtle yet powerful connection between light and human emotion, emphasizing its role in storytelling, art, and everyday experiences.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

I created a prototype for an app that allows users to receive personalized book recommendations through quizzes. Users can explore information about the recommended books, engage in discussions with others, send messages, add books to their wishlist, and even purchase or gift books directly within the app. The platform combines existing features with a new, interactive approach through quizzes, offering a fresh perspective on book recommendations.

Users can explore information about these recommended books, engage in discussions with other users, message them, add books to their wishlist, and even purchase or gift books directly within the app. It’s an all-in-one platform that integrates existing features while introducing a fresh perspective with the quizzes.

The platform also allows users to discover activities in different countries and book them directly from other users. It connects people from around the world, enabling them to build new connections and create unforgettable experiences together. Users can also offer their own activities to share their expertise and passions, as well as favorite activities to quickly access their personal highlights later. This app is the perfect companion to make traveling more inspiring and interactive.

For my project, I have chosen Kendrick Lamar as the artist whose existing aesthetic I want to analyze. His music and visual style are characterized by profound, socially critical themes and a strong visual identity, often rooted in urban and avant-garde influences.

As the new aesthetic, I have selected the Grunge style, known for its raw, rebellious, and unpolished look. Grunge symbolizes nonconformity, authenticity, and a DIY spirit, which could create an intriguing contrast and dynamic when combined with Kendrick Lamar’s visual style.

The goal is to merge Kendrick Lamar’s intensity and depth of expression with the raw energy of Grunge to create a powerful new visual identity. This combination has the potential to amplify the impact of any promotional campaign, making the conceptual depth of Kendrick’s work even more palpable through the emotional rawness of the Grunge aesthetic.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

For this project, we needed to come up with an event and choose a local restaurant in Valencia to create a brochure. I decided to use the restaurant’s existing color palette and incorporated their pizza icon as well. To achieve a modern yet artistic look, I opted for a playful retro style to make the design both contemporary and creative.

I designed packaging for coffee beans, created menu boards, and developed Instagram post designs. This role allowed me to take ownership of various creative projects and contribute to the brand’s visual identity across multiple platforms.

Salty Sports Club is a marketing project created as part of an assignment where I had to find a running club, choose a brand, and design an event around it.

Salty Sports Club is  a community that creates experiences and connections all over Europe. Members come together as a united force to spread the joy of movement every single day.

Salty Rave is a special event where members get the chance to combine their love for running with their passion for techno and house music. Sponsored by the brand JBL, the runners get to enjoy the best possible experience of adapted music during their run, followed by an afterparty at Miniclub. The whole event features the famous DJs Lucia Lu, Luciid, and Blawan Ternesc

I used digital photos that I captured with my camera to document special moments and impressions. In the magazine, I describe what it was like for me to study at the university there, the challenges and memorable experiences I had, as well as the friendships I built during this time.
